The Forge Deli, ripon
Distance - 5 minute drive
A lovely Deli that serves breakfast, always has a homemade soup of the day and some local produce. Bacon sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, paninis and coffee’s. You can sit by the canal outside or takeaway. We love a coffee and bacon sandwich from here! They often have specials like pulled pork.
Drakes fish and chips, ripon
Distance - 5 minute drive
After the tough job of testing and deliberation, we found Drakes fish and chips to be quite simply delicious!
They are most often open 11am-9pm/9.30pm, all food is cooked fresh, they also have a little restaurant and are just off the main market square
The one eyed rat pub, just down the road allow you to eat your fish and chips in the beer garden - its expected that you buy a drink of course but most of us tend to struggle through and force a pint down.

Vanora's Bakery / Tartine Lounge
Distance - 5 minute drive
This stunning artisan bakery has a secret little restaurant (they say simple food inspired by the bouchonnes of Lyon). You can order your specialist fresh breads, pastries and cakes online and collect them or join the queue (its worth it). They specialise in Sour dough breads but also do Fougasse, Foccacia – they also do sour dough workshops.
Appletons Butchers, ripon
Distance - 5 minute drive
Their pork pies – in fact all pies are out of this world! It’s a great place for picnic food as they stock sausage rolls, hams, bread rolls and chutneys.
DRAGON INN, RIPON
Distance - 5 minute drive
This Chinese restaurant delivers, you can order online! And it’s actually quite nice. They might call you to help find the place, send a google map pin to help them.

This lovely Indian restaurant also delivers. We haven’t had any bad food from there, the staff curry, peshwari naan are lovely!
