SWINTON ESTATE
Distance - 10 miles, 23 Mins Drive
The Swinton Estate near Masham has a secluded woodland lake with a purpose-built swimming platform which is open to the public. You could have an early morning swim at sunrise or a late evening swim at sunset.

ELLERTON PARK
Distance - 25 miles, 30 Mins Drive
Ellerton Park, situated between Richmond and Northallerton, is a must for the more experieinced open water swimmers and triathletes. It is a large lake surrounded by beautiful countryside, with many waterfalls in the area descending into pools to swim in. You can find your perfect waterfall swim online.

SEMER WATER
Distance - 35 miles, 70 Mins Drive
Semer Water, Upper Wensleydale is the second largest natural lake in North Yorkshire, surrounded by beautiful countryside it is a great spot for wild swimming . Perfect for new open water swimmers.

SEA SWIMMING
Distance - 25 miles, 30 Mins Drive
If you prefer the sea, North Yorkshire has over one hundred miles of coastline to choose from, with many having a Seaside Award for water standards: Filey, Runswick Bay, Cayton Bay, Robin Hoods Bay, Sandsend, Scarborough North Bay and Whitby which is also a blue flag beach.
